Starting work as an apprentice at age 16 working for his father David, Ben has been an integral part of the business for over 20 years. Now managing the business on a day to day basis, Ben does everything from drawing up client’s visions, programming work, project managing, assembling and installing joinery. Ben takes pride in his client relationships and distinctive eye for detail when it comes to the design and joinery he produces.

Amy has been part of Saward Joinery for over 5 years in an administrative role, whilst also working in Fashion Design and E-commerce at a well-known Australian clothing brand. In more recent years Amy’s passion has shifted from fashion to Interior Design, as together with Ben they have designed and renovated multiple family homes. In addition to her Fashion Design degree, Amy has furthered her design knowledge by studying at the Interior Design Institute, and contributed to many design aspects in her own home and those of others, whilst raising her 3 young children. In 2022 Amy launched Saward Interiors as a new branch of Saward Joinery, to procure new clients and offer collaborations to the Joinery side of the business.

David started the business, formerly known as Saward Shopfitters, back in 1973. Although no longer working on a day to day basis as he transitions to retirement, David still offers his knowledge and expertise in current projects. You will often find him working in the factory on his personal ventures and lending a hand with the completion stages of joinery projects.
