I already have a clear design vision, but need a cabinet maker to do the work is that ok?

Perfect!  Saward Joinery can help you out by providing you with a quote.  There is no need to hire our designer, but if you have any further design questions you can book in design consultation at an hourly rate with Amy.

I already have a cabinet maker I’d like to use, but need someone to design the space, is that ok?

That’s perfectly fine, Saward Interiors are more than happy to help with designing your overall space and colour scheme, making it easy for you to pass onto your own cabinet maker and/or other trades.  We can also work directly with your trades to ensure design, manufacturing and installation are to your requirements.

I’m moving into a new house but don’t have any furniture, and don’t know what style to get, can you help?

Definitely, Saward Interiors not only helps with designing spaces, but can furnish them as well. We take you through a detailed questionnaire to help determine your style, then come up with furnishing concepts that suit your budget. We can provide you with a shopping list so you can purchase items at your leisure, or can procure and install the items for you, as well as offer an in-home styling service.

Why do you charge for an initial meeting with your interior designer?

There is a lot involved in preparing for our initial meeting after our phone consult.  We like to be prepared and will have put in some research prior to our first meeting.  This cost also covers our time for the meeting which is up to 2 hours. 

Why should I hire an Interior Designer?

As an interior designer, we can help put together an overall vision and/or help collate all your ideas into a seamless and cohesive look.  We can save you a lot of time and stress by being the person who collects samples, assesses colour and finishes and works through some of those hard decisions that can be really daunting when creating or renovating a space.  We have access to quality tradespeople, as well as a large range of furnishing suppliers, and can help in coordinating the required trades if needed.

I don’t need a full Interior Design or Joinery package, but have some questions about my renovation, can you help?

Of course, with a wealth of knowledge in the cabinet making industry, as well as years of design experience we can help with your cabinetry, renovation and design queries.  Contact us to book in an hourly consultation which can be done in person or over the phone.  You can choose to talk to Ben for your cabinetry questions, Amy for your design questions or both for more of a collaborative approach.

I only have a small space I need help with, can I still use your design services?
